It's just a survey writing thing. A good survey can focus on these subjective issues but produce potentially actionable results. This question is akin to asking do you think food is too spicy?

Exactly, that's what makes it an uniformative question.

Hey, I wear t-shirts over plaid sometimes. It's not fashionable right now, but this is a little too judgemental.

Are you down voting because you don't like the article or are just mad about the topic? It's not a poorly written piece and while I think the art is shite, I respect the approach : "On the issue of data and copyright, Anadol told NPR that the dataset that underpins *Machine Dreams: Rainforest* – what the founders call a "Large Nature Model (LNM)" – is trained on data collected first-hand from 16 rainforests around the globe. It is also trained using data partnerships w...

You know what. Fuck Linda Park, fuck this ass-kissing Google loving article. "designed to protect users from malicious software and scams" and the article keeps this tone throughout. This is not about protecting users! It's about tightening the grip on control of the app ecosystem. Consider android authoritys article https://www.androidauthority.com/google-android-sideloading-unverified-apps-new-rules-3650343/ That at least has a little survey where you can express your take o...

Ok, it's great to dream. In your dream are cars just completely gone? If so that's a pretty extreme stretch of a dream. If you are going to have any cars why wouldn't you want them to be self driving?

My 1st goal is to have a good browser experience without Ai crap and have my privacy reasonably respected. Read up on Vivaldi if you question whether their goals align with these. My second goal is to save the world, but I'm not going to use a crud AI browser like Firefox (which btw is funded by Google anyway) so I can feel superior.

What a relief. As long as we are all tracked at all times by both government and corporations, we can finally be free of the burden of ticket scalping. It's a small price to pay for this great reward. I think we can turn our attention toward solving other oppressive plagues like Jay walking and double parking now.

Thriving online economy or thriving corporate microcosm? I don't think many economies are thriving. Polymarket is making a lot of money though.
