The game Civilization is now 35 years old. I have played most of the games in the series. VI is probably the one I spent the most time on because playing it cooperatively was a regular thing during the pandemic. I really appreciate how the game makes us wonder about history, although it often means being puzzled by or laughing at how they apply concepts in a weird or wrong way.

I have started playing the latest game in the Alone in the Dark series and stumbled into a room with a grandperson clock that is very loud and dominates the soundscape in this location. I waited for the hands of the clock to move to check if time goes by or if it is reminiscent of the clock in the Secret of Monkey Island. #shareyourgames #aloneinthedark
