    It’s halftime as #rctid take on Messi and Inter Miami. Down 2-0, the story I’m watching is how well 40 year old Diego Chara can shut down 38 year old Lionel Messi. In the opening 20 minutes Chara was winning that battle. That has shifted and while the 2 goals aren’t directly Chara’s responsibility, his lack of quickness played a part. Legends. #mls #rctid

    In one of his early pressers as Timbers manager, Phil Neville described his lack of a coaching retinue as a good thing, an indicator of his ability to adapt to situations. Thus far it seems to better indicate his lack of a coherent on-field model to win games of soccer. He is a charming man. Whether attributable to him or Ned, our academy is improving and we are playing our kids.
