    Ahead of the storm, I just found this monster puffball mushroom trying to break through the cover of English ivy that perpetually threatens to invade from the north (my neighbors&#39; yard). This thing is 901 grams, and larger than my entire head. I didn&#39;t know puffballs could get this large. Considering puffball steaks for dinner. #Mushtodon #FungiFriday #Food

    A #Repair Thread, Part 1: the Melty Switch. This summer I was gifted one working Switch and two broken ones. The younger child proceeded to leap upon the working one, and I set aside the two broken ones until I had more time. Broken Switch 1: Lefty Switch. The right Joy-Con rail has been ripped clean off. Still powers on fine and no other apparent problems. Broken Switch 2: Melty Switch, which the previous owner informs me got scorching hot in the dock one day, enough to soften the plastic.

    I have come into possession of a Dell XPS laptop with integrated Intel graphics as well as a dedicated Geforce 1650 chip. I&#39;ve installed #LMDE 7, and it&#39;s running fine. It appears to be using the integrated Intel graphics for everything, but lspci shows that the Geforce 1650 is present and recognized. I&#39;d like to try gaming on this laptop.     Walking my kid to school this morning, and this mining bee (that&amp;#39;s what iNaturalist tells me) was crawling slowly down the middle of the sidewalk. I let it crawl onto my finger and then transferred it up to a flower. Didn&amp;#39;t want it to get stepped on.

    I am not sure why deleting a page break in AppleWorks for the #IIgs can reliably reproduce this error message. But, I can say that I do love that I am presented with a second option.
