FolksVelo@mas.to

We see velomobiles as being a key way to address the #ClimateCrisis but most cost more than a used car. Our goal is to produce enclosed velocars that cost less than a used automobile to make them affordable by all. Think of a FolksVelo as a link to public transport and local errands, a better alternative to cars, like a cargo bike where even the parent gets to stay out of the rain www.FolksVelo.com

"ossessione ingegneristica e innovazione nel design"

Working from a Fairfax garage, Charlie Cunningham built lighter, faster bicycles and helped transform the emerging sport of modern mountain biking.

There are so many wonderful solutions to be found in old velomobiles. Note the independent pedal options which would allow for the use on one or both legs. Just think how this would make velomobiles more accessible for the diversely-abled community. I love too the use of commonly available bicycle components

Also at #SPEZI2026 I met Darren Sables who introduced me to this brilliant (pun intended) rechargable visibility device. It telescopes down to pocket size and would work on wheelchairs, bicycles, and velomobiles

Also at SPEZI was the amazing Juliane Neuß founder of a company unique in fact and name. https://junik-hpv.de/ They designer, developed, build and sell bicycles for those individuals with dwarfism. When I asked her why she replied "because adults should not be forced tò ride children's bicycles and respecting a person's unique porportions makes for healthier riding" Amazing woman Amazing company Fabulous products

Also at this year's SPEZI I stumbled across another folding wonder. This one, however, has three wheels, an impressive turning radius, can be quickly folded to fit most tight spaces & is engineered, developed and completely produced in Basque Country. I really enjoyed my test ride of this on the track. Unlike many reverse trikes this one has a very comfortable upright seating position which really helped with visibility To learn more about these amazing trikes click here https:/...

If this happens it will be the death of two civilizations... Any nation that intentionally annihilates another nation cannot be defined as civilized We must not confuse military might with civilization.

A critical part of bicycle infrastructure must be parking. Here is an impressive solution

3/3 #Paris🇫🇷, this election builds directly on the legacy of @annehidalgo who spent years reshaping the city, often against fierce resistance, turning riverbanks into public space and traffic lanes into bike paths. What’s striking is not just that these ideas exist. It’s that people are voting for them. #Bicyclingwins

On this day, it's critical that acknowledge that we've seen before what's now happening. In the 1930ies the world leaders could have stopped Fascism & the Holocaust, but did not. Let's not dishonor this day by repeating the same mistakes #DayofRemembrance #giornatadellamemoria
