Lauren Boebert says claims of sexual relationships with staffers ‘utterly false’ Among the most prominent allegations are that Boebert conducted a four-year “romantic and sexual relationship” with a senior female staffer, named as Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, then paid her $200,000 when Ratzlaff broke off the affair and threatened to file an ethics complaint of her own. Additionally, Wheeler alleges, Boebert had a sexual relationships around the same time with Raven Finegan, a congressional empl...

How one woman’s Tesla was remotely controlled – and used to harass her – by an abusive ex-partner “You thought you’d get away with this. I am in your car. I am in your maps,” he shouted at her, according to the police records. Over the coming days, Stacey found that the parental control profile, to which she had no access, could almost entirely control the car, including its speed, climate control, lock and curfew hours, determining when the car could be driven. Between 6 and 12 November 20...

Trump Falls Asleep Onstage at September 11 Ceremony President Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 memorial ceremony. The president dozed off at multiple points during the event Friday, slumped over in his chair with his eyes closed and his head hanging down while everyone else onstage—Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Melania Trump, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice—was clearly awake.

US Patriot missile stocks in Europe are ‘beyond critical’ due to Iran war, officials say WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military is experiencing a “beyond critical” shortage of advanced missile interceptors in Europe largely driven by President Donald Trump’s war with Iran, a U.S. defense official in Europe and a NATO official told The Associated Press, raising concerns about vulnerabilities in NATO countries to a potential Russian attack. The U.S. defense official said the most concerning shortf...

Trump ‘border czar’ denies Milo Yiannopoulos was deported quickly to spare him from ICE detention Yiannopoulos’s removal one day after his arrest, when many others who have been deported had first endured lengthy detention center incarcerations, has prompted questions about whether he received preferential treatment in that respect. Homan said the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which oversees ICE, was trying to speed up the deportation process.

Less of a rage-quit and more of a rage-promotion. (it'll make sense, just keep reading.) I am someone who keeps track of what I do, my productivity, and how much output I'm generating in my work. A company I used to work for decided they wanted to do back-door layoffs by handing out phony write-ups and putting people on performance improvement plans, and they targeted me. Essentially, I went into a meeting with my boss thinking I was going to get promoted or at least an attaboy, becau...

I wish a very enthusiastic 'fuck you' to the 1% and their private jets, and I hope this dumbass war that they supported for Israel makes it so they can't fly around the globe at will this summer and they're stuck at home watching Netflix like the rest of Americans.

Absolutely right. I'd love to see 30% reduction in kids being on these platforms globally. That would be a good start.

I don't generally consume conspiracy-related content beyond documented history and sensationalized entertainment. That said, it's relevant in a historical context that now, around half-a-dozen times, there have been significant security failures or breaches around this president leading to several near-miss assassination attempts. This is anomalous and doesn't really happen, because generally, the layers of security around a public presidential appearance are so strict it's esse...

I hope one of these days I wake up to find out a country has managed to slip a nuke to Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. That will end the war in a day.

The closest facsimile I have in my work is occasionally running an Excel formula I've written through Copilot in order to find a formatting error or to help fix an Access query, but If fundamentally understand what I'm doing, can validate that the produced result is correct, and can fix it if I have to somewhere down the line. It's good you've found some simple ways to use it, but in the vast majority of work I do, it would take longer if I used AI because everything produced u...

See also treatment of female pedos vs male pedos, or how well men make out in divorce or family law proceedings, or how quickly people are to assume a man has committed a sex crime when accused. No one is arguing that gender inequality doesn't exist, except maybe the Ben Shapiros of the world. We're well aware.

I'll give them this much. They did a brilliant job integrating Windows into every significant sphere of the globe. I had never even heard of LibreOffice until a couple of years ago when they rolled out Windows Recall and I got serious about learning and using Linux and open-source software more in order to protect my privacy. It's wild to me that they have made a product that basically worked so incredibly buggy in the span of a few short years. It's actually a running joke at my w...

I feel awful for young people. Wish they could grow up in the world we did. The woods we played in are now McMansions and paved over. The malls, video stores, and pizza party places are gone or empty. Friendships were made organically and if someone wanted to fuck with you, they had to do it to your face and take some personal risk. We were out having adventures until the street lights came on. Worst of all though, we had hope for a prosperous future. Young people don’t even get to have...

No. When the AI bubble bursts, those with money will invest and hoover up wealth and assets at a 90% discount. The vast majority will continue to scrape whatever life they can together and try to survive, and the government will enforce ever more draconian austerity policies.
