Jodrell Bank's soon to be decommissioned (i really hope not) telescope, should be used to RF illuminate any space reflective satellites, ideally at their uplink frequencies. I'm sure the FCC have no jurisdiction over this use, so it must be ok.

Sad to have to leave #emfcamp slightly early. But, what an event... way too much to put in a post. Thanks to all of the organisers, speakers, workshoppers, installationers, network, power, toilet/shower and nullmakers? for putting on another superb event. And thanks to all the people who came to @ExtKits@mstdn.social at the #nightmarke and workshop. Hopefully see you again in 20 to 25 months :)

Next door found a bell in a skip 3 years ago, they didn't use it as it was literally "clapped out" Machined a brass ball and added a 5mm rod chain and leather handle. Also gave it a polish.

Yey!, 60 transistors, two complete design changes, and a PCB bodge later, we have a working shift register... Now, on to the "actual" project :)

It never ceases to amaze me, how strong a bond of wire to PCB using only solder flux can be, without actually connecting the wire to the PCB trace.

Microsoft have taken the core concepts of Myst and applied them to 365. Clicking a check box in admin (or via powershell), will have no immediate, discernable effect. At sometime in the future, the change will be noticed by the client software, silently. This change could be almost immediate, or in 24+ hours. No one can tell. :)
