  I've just picked up this $item from the local store, it only cost $not_much, and we're going to spend $impossible_amount_of_time hours to get it fixed up and workable.   On a project in #gitlab, under "Visibility, project features, permissions" you can turn off: - issues (just no tickets - fine) - git largefile (just don't commit isos - git can get slow) - CI⚡️CD (no builds, no sanity checks - living on the edge) - container/package registry/pages (you can't really have build artefacts, maybe that's ok if you directly deploy source code) - merge requests (the web ui eats shit, workflows break, webIDE asks if you want to...

  Is there an extension that just clicks the readmore on sites that only show you the first 6 words of an article/job ad/recipe/whatever? I don't know what the motivation is for doing this on linkedin specifically, personally I'd expect that opening a link to a job description should be enough of a signal that I"d like to read the "about the job" blurb - maybe i'm old fashioned?

It pops a dialog: = This is the first extension you're installing from this developer, - Install, Trust always, and forever - Take me to a random document about trusting plugins - Fuck it, I give up = The document tells me I can trust 'em if they have a blue checkmark ... the checkmark just proves they own a domain and that they have 6 months worth of "good standing" on the market place.   Is auto-play an #adhd hostile architecture? Should there be mandatory "just one episode, real quick" button that automatically exits the app after playing the episode? Maybe it let's you type in why you only wanted to watch one episode?
