About me: I completed my degree in mathematics in Hamburg in 1985 and earned my Ph.D. at RWTH Aachen University in 1988. My research focused on the numerical solution on nonlinear conservation laws. After a postdoctoral fellowship in England, I worked as an IT consultant for several years.</p>
