That’s a wrap on book twelve and holy crap! I had some reservations at first about the obviously necessary change of authors. At first the stories felt a little stilted and the world and characters felt a little bit flat and empty, but I’ve appreciated the pace of the story picking up. Things are starting to actually happen and some stories are starting to reach their conclusions. Very excited to see where it all ends up from here. 🤙 #Bookstodon #WheelOfTime #WoT

RE: https://gamepad.club/@Doubleaa/117263904533825967 They upheld the ban. No explanation other than a link to the EULA and Code of Conduct, which from my brief perusal doesn’t actually pertain to my situation in the least. I’m pretty sure someone just rubber stamped a “no” and kicked it down the line. Very disappointed, but pleased that they reaffirmed my decision to never give their company any more money after the mess that was Diablo IV. 🤷‍♂️

I’m kinda annoyed at how much the WoW Forever announcement has gotten stuck in my head. I may or may not have even contacted Blizzard about getting my account unbanned…

Played around with the Final Fantasy Resonance demo for a bit tonight and I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. Gonna poke at it some more tomorrow but I’ll prolly end up picking it up sooner or later. Gimme a physical release and it’s a definite.

Dropped NTE due to reports of GenAI use for in-game artwork. No bueno. Decided to reinstall Wuthering Waves. I’d tried it before but dropped it because the story was painfully slow and boring. Saw a video claiming that it picked up toward the end of chapter one and just keeps getting better from there. Guess where I was in the story when I dropped it… #Gacha #Gaming #WuWa

Discussing the possibility of a whole house rearrangement that would turn the basement back into a proper man cave and the upstairs into an office/crafting area for the GF. Indoor she-shed, I suppose? Kinda exciting but also would be a whole lot of work. We’ll see where we land, I suppose.

Over the weekend we stopped at a local used game shop and they had a New 2DS XL sitting in the display case for $300 beside a black Vita for $240 and a pair of PSPs for $210 each. The secondhand market for handhelds is an absolute mess right now. #Gaming #HandheldGaming #Handhelds
