Found this picture I took in Feb 2020! Welcome to the Blackout is the only one that stands out but I still haven't listened to some o f them. Since then I've added two more. As I said, many of them came from boxsets I got for the studio albums. I wouldn't say his live stuff is as compelling as his studio stuff, unlike King Crimson. #davidbowie

The Odyssey is fine, but it's nowhere near as good as Hot Rod.

Go Let It Out - a song where you are constantly waiting for an amazing chorus that never comes. It's an un-song. #TOTP

Today’s travel was to the north Mayo coast, including Céide Fields and the Dún Briste stack. Travel due north from here and the next stop is the North Pole. #ireland #wildatlanticway

Well, in from another Elvis Costello gig, my 30th or so. I thought it was right up there, really great. When he started playing Party Girl, me and the stranger beside me were so delighted, we high-fived. #elviscostello

Showing the Manics again even though they fell down the chart? Fair enough. Most Welsh #totp ever?

When you think of Sting hits, you don’t immediately think of Desert Rose, but it’s his fourth most popular song on Spotify. #totp #sting

RE: https://mastodon.social/@Doctor_J_/116557650173829513 I first bought this album in the late 80s on very old battered vinyl in a flea market in Rathmines when The Monkees were out of print outside the US. Then I bought CDs in the 90s, 00s and the 2025 boxset. But this High Fidelity Vinyl really sounds remarkable. If you have any grá for this album, I can't recommend it enough. https://monkeesstore.warnermusic.com/products/pisces-aquarius-capricorn-jones-ltd-rhino-high-fidelity?vari...

#nowplaying Keeping it Monkees. Hard to believe this album is 10 years old already. Does time exist anymore?
