  Gen X here. I'm mostly in agreement except that his analogy breaks at the point where AI is being forced into everything, even where it's not beneficial. The automobile and word processor had to prove their worth before organically becoming commonly used. AI is being forced. "I think most Gen-X artists feel this way.   Is that what that is? I've seen them in the store and I avoided buying anything that showed bar codes. I didn't know I was supposed to scan it. I avoided it just from not knowing what was going on. I assumed the sign was broken. Just as well. Now I know, but I'm still not buying.
