@molly0xfff same😔 I read they are working with Kobo, so maybe it will at least become more versatile, and rippable😅 But rn it’s as bad as Apple Books

I deleted my WhatsApp account, the last hold out of my Meta accounts. Now I’m using telegram to talk to a friend in Russia. Day one: I start a secret chat, (their in-house maybe, who knows, e2e encryption). She opens the chat, instant app crash. Crash loop when opening the app, until I delete the secret chat lmao I wish Europeans would use iMessage😅

@molly0xfff Was not a fan of Steinbeck, but I nervously started East of Eden after you posted about it last month. I think it literally might be my favorite novel. Thou mayest😭 I need a Samuel in my life

#readingwrapup #books My April reads. East of Eden might be my favorite novel. Really enjoyed The Seven Husbands, and the Fifteen Lives... The Poppy Wars series was intense. I enjoyed the read, but I would have enjoyed it more if the protagonist was more likable🙃 But I'm still hung up on all the badass women from January's Throne of Glass series. Still searching for my Manon Blackbeak😂 #readingwrapup

The post 2020 world is just tech bros, high on each other’s farts, searching for God in ones and zeros.

July reads. #readingwrapup #books If you like fast, Spell or High Water, and the Bone Shard books. If you like slow, Anne Rice. Hell is a World Without You was a nice surprise. A Short Stay in Hell was terrifying. All and all a good month!

@molly0xfff The Tainted Cup is next for me, when I finish the Dungeon Crawler series! Have you read the Bone Shard books by Andrea Stewart?

@molly0xfff I enjoyed the series, and I think anyone who uses mastodon would🤓 The books feel half as long as they are.

Wait until Republicans find out Kentucky Fried Chicken changed their name and logo to KFC in 1991! The horror lol I forget, who are the snowflakes supposed to be?

@augieray First three that come to mind are “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara, “East of Eden” by John Steinbeck, and “The Song of Achilles” by Madeline Miller.

One thing I have learned about Ai is as incredible a tool something like Claude is, it will absolutely run you around in circles if you have no idea what you’re doing lol It will also often find a 4000 step solution, when there is a 4 step solution. But wow does it open up a whole new world to a non-programmer willing to learn just a little bit. Tonight, I made a shortcut that is going to save a friend a lot of money. I tried without Claude six months ago, and decided it wasn’t possible

There is a red tail hawk that seems to enjoy my trees. But it does not enjoy me. Every time I go outside it makes this blood-curdling scream. Am I going to lose an eye if I play basketball?

@imdavidpierce I see it. Now ask Zuck to turn on federation by default. There are a ton of nano influencers and cheap shop accounts I want to follow

My power has been out for five hours. No useful information on the hotline. No useful information on the outage section of their website. Guess where I have to go to get official updates? ZUCKBOOK!! Guys, why did we let all of this happen?
