#today the spouse and I changed our party affiliation to unaffiliated. In Maine we can vote for whichever party we choose as unaffiliated. We are die hard liberals but are concerned about the current administration’s continuing battle to have states hand over voting lists. Color me paranoid.

@LaNaehForaday seeing him up there brought to mind someone’s grandfather needing to be escorted away from the microphone during a wedding.

The idea that they indicted #comey for posting a pic of #8647 is insane. More than obvious none of them spent time in food service. Also a little concerned about wearing my 86 47 tshirt.

#today I would like to take a moment to thank all the smug folks who didn’t vote because their perfect candidate didn’t descend from the sky in a beam of light and blare of trumpets for the current SCOTUS . Because I am placing blame on you for the #votingrights act being gutted. No seriously, don’t come for me over this because we fucking TOLD you. Yeah we all want perfection but that’s not the reality we were facing. Reality has arrived . Hope you enjoy it.

#Today #peace #spring I need not so much to step away from doomscrolling as I need to find small joyful moments because those moments are fireflies in the dark. So I am embracing the garden coming back , the frost being gone , and the peeper frogs singing their hearts out. I can’t help anyone from a place of despair.

#tech #elderly #today #advice #adviceneeded Is anyone aware of a simple TV remote that a very elderly ( 94 ) could manage easily ? My mom doesn’t watch much aside from women’s sports , Rachel Maddow , and old movies. I just want to simplify her life.
