Just if you are looking for what #BonkWave or #NotBonkWave might be you can read a great post by @keefmarshall@mastodon.online here https://words.key13.uk/thats-not-bonk-wave Also, for me personally, it means making music again, helping me work through grief and find the joy in the creative process again. I really cannot thank the community enough for being there not only for me, but I know for lots of other people too. That is just one small part of what #BonkWave is 🙏 Let there be Bonk.

When I was in high school I had a friend who could talk your ear off, and you wouldn’t be able to get a word in when he really got into the conversation. However, when we would message on ICQ, he would only ever answer with one word responses. Since then I have really thought about how the medium and method of communication has a huge impact on how people engage with one another. 1/2

Fellow #FediMusician people, I am looking to engage with some old school forums devoted to music making, but I have been long out of the loop on them. Do you have any suggestions for forums for me to check out? #Musodon #FediMusic #FediMusicians

Hello lovely people. Been a while since I posted on here but I was camping across Ontario and Manitoba. Access to mobile data and Internet was almost non-existent for the majority of the trip but back now. It may take me some time to catch up on the latest #BonkWave or #NotBonkWave and the newest releases via #FediArtists but looking forward to catching up with you all.

Just wanted to mention a cool little thing that happened yesterday: During the release party for the #FSoBW Autumn Waves Disc 2 there was a flurry of comments in the chat as different tracks were being played alongside the awesome visuals by @defaultmediatransmitter and @limebar made a comment along the lines of one of the tracks leaning into broken beats or purposeful breakbeats. Immediately a "lightbulb" went off in my head, and now I have the concept for a new album. (...
