    The #Amazon search filters are 100% effective: Select a quality to filter FOR, and they will show you nothing but things that DO NOT have that quality. So reliable, once you know the sekret.

    #askfedi #indoorenvironment #hvac #dust #allergen #filtration We’re discovering our passion for open doors and windows is brining in a LOT of dust. We can skate on the tile floors because of it. Rather than close up and go on AC, I’m thinking of making/buying air filters for the windows. Let’s assume full-width, but only about 6” tall. Just basic furnace filter material, MERV 8 or so. Is this a workable solution? But wait, there’s more…

    @mkb There was a book by one of the OSS originals. He famously had a sign on his desk that said “Speak freely, I don’t want your job.” “The Price of Admiralty” is an excellent history of the cost and purposes of a navy. “The First War of Physics” is a great history of the WW2 race to build a bomb. (I don’t recall enough coverage of the Japanese program.) I love spy books as well, just haven’t found enough.
