    Had an unexpected visitor in the apartment this afternoon. The cats thought she&amp;#39;d be an interesting toy but thankfully no stings. Safely captured and released to the wild where hopefully she&amp;#39;ll tell her sisters this apartment isn&amp;#39;t a good place to find flowers.

    You can tell that the guy who invented the electric oven and the microwave oven would have absolutely hated each other, because the oven will not let you know anything. Oven&amp;#39;s preheated? Figure it out yerself. Your notification? A light isn&amp;#39;t on anymore. The microwave, on the other hand, will scream at you until you acknowledge it even when 3/4 of everything that goes in it is expected to be allowed to rest.

    The man wakes up. He takes his pull at the machine. No luck today. He&amp;#39;s a bit worse off than he was yesterday. He can&amp;#39;t remember the last time he won. It happened in the past. A little bit here, a little there. Maybe tomorrow it&amp;#39;ll happen again. He&amp;#39;s worse off than when he first started pulling the machine, everyone is. But sometimes you win so you keep playing.
