But when he won, all his Corporate Establishment DINO critics showed up at his Inauguration, and grinned like they'd been on board the entire time, basking in his glow. "Oh, is this what it feels like to win? It's nice, I like it. We should do this more often."

Do not take the "Trans Bait." MAGA has nothing going for it, so Trans rights are the only thing the they have, because it doesn't gain votes from anyone, and it loses center and independent votes. So they will try to steer EVERY conversation to Trans Rights, and we have to IGNORE it, not engage, and pivot to one of the many MAGA problems, and keep the conversation there. Do NOT respond to any Trans Bait, and insist on talking about Corruption (Weaponization Fund, Ballroom, Pool,...

    >The Ellison's had to go like $89 billion into debt to make this merger, Not really. They have the money. It's not like they borrowed it from the bank, and now they have to make a go of this new business, or the family goes bankrupt, and the kids can't go to college. They've probably already replaced the money they spent. You're thinking like a regular person. It's not like they really *spent* money on anything. They made a deal to acquire an enormous revenue strea...

That's a tech CEO thing - Jobs' turtlenecks, Gates' blue oxford shirts, etc. You wouldn't think twice about a Wall Street guy in a suit, but that's just a daily uniform.

I think there may be room to interpret that line as not necessarily a belief in ghosts, but that whatever the base belief, it hasn't changed much. They may not have believed much on the concept of ghosts, but keeping the door open to the idea, but as time went on, it faded a bit. They never really believed, but they did think about it a lot. That could describe me. I don't really believe in ghosts, but I also know that we don't know much at all about the universe, so who really kno...

First of all, I never used that phrase, and I don't agree with it, and I am seriously offended whenever anyone tries to put words I dont agree with, and didn't say, in my mouth with QUOTATIONS. I didn't say that, I don't believe that, and you reveal yourself as disengenuous right out of the gate. That means you're a liar. "Defund the police" was a really stupid, but typical, self-inflicted Democratic wound. Really, really dumb, even dumber than the usual Democrati...

Just because they aren't as bad as they could be, we should just allow them to continue being increasingly abusive? [Here's](https://youtu.be/_Tmvi3xyk0U) an example of two veteran, trained, experienced NYC detectives handling a suspect in their own special "civilized" way, in public, in front of cameras, confident nothing will happen to them. Oh, BTW, they had the wrong guy. He's now suing them for $100 million, for their "civilized" behavior, so something di...

Don't engage this troll. 3 year account with 4 posts: two when he started 2.8 years ago, and two today. One post mentioned that he preferred the "control" over at Reddit. 4 posts, and we know he loves Reddit and Law Enforcement authority. He's a proud Fascist.

Law Enforcement is already finding out that they can't fuck with American citizens. They exist at OUR pleasure, not the other way around. We know that, but we are polite enough to not dwell on it, and just live our lives. But interrupt that flow of society, and it will not go well for them. They are BADLY outnumbered.

Whoever the next Democratic president is, their primary priority is going to have to be crushing MAGA, and purging it from our government, and our society. We will hear many say that we can't make that our priority, we have to move forward and chase health care, day care, college, etc., but we won't be able to do any of that, or anything else, until the MAGA chaos is ended. And it won't be hard. They are already collapsing under the weight of their own virtuosic incompetence anyway...

The Chinese are over there trying to get into the heads of Americans: "They like this food they call barbecue. It's just meat cooked over a fire, but they just love it. Anyway, they like to have these beans with it. It's like their rice, with their Barbecue. "They really, really love these beans. They love them so much, that I'll bet they'll wear a dress with beans on it!"

I get that, but it isn't really a lie, because he DOES fall asleep, OFTEN. So who cares if it isn't an actual photo of him doing what he does all the time? It would only be wrong if it was a picture of a behavior that he never does, or is the opposite of the truth. I don't know why they didn't use an actual photo of him, there are enough of them, but this is close enough to the truth, that it doesn't bother me.

It's hilarious that the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries thinks they'll still be allowed on the stage after the Midterms. The first thing I expect the Dems to do after the Midterms is replace those two cowardly losers with people with the courage to fight MAGA on EVERYTHING! And then it's two years of relentless bullying, and impeachment is definitely a good part of the strategy, even if the Senate won't vote to convict. We need to attack them aggressively on every fro...

It also has a lot to with Great Britain not supporting America in this stupid war, and actually handing out consequences to their people in the Epstein Files. England, of all nations, has become the good guy, and America has become the bad guy. Ironic.

This is the situation where Ka$h's independent eyeballs become his super power. While everyone was running around in a panic, Ka$h could keep an eye on both of the open bars at all times. At the end, he was relieved to say that the bars were fully unharmed. He's not sure what happened to anyone else. ![](https://lemmy.today/pictrs/image/638bd0bc-9bb4-486b-9347-06e957e17d05.gif)

I watched my Dad decline for years before the doctor would finally diagnose it as dementia. He had already forgotten the names, and even the faces, if everyone he knew before the doctor finally said he had some form of dementia. Duh! Welcome to the party, Doc. They won't believe he has dementia until he turns to Vance, or Rubio, or Hegseth, and says "Who are you?"

How long before we hear that Trump and all of Epstein's other friends were victims of Jeffrey Epstein, lured down there, plyed with alcohol, possibly drugged, and enticed into compromising behavior for blackmail purposes? They're victims, not pedophiles.
