OK, this is wild. Dude who once competed professionally in poker owns 28 apartment complexes, takes out a loan with a 7000% daily compounding interest... From an international arms dealer who was played in War Dogs by Jonah Hill... Either way this negatively impacts slightly over 9900 #Oklahoma households across every major metro area in central and eastern Oklahoma. https://nondoc.com/2026/07/14/as-vesta-empire-collapses-former-arms-dealer-efraim-diveroli-takes-over-26-oklahoma-apartments/...

It would not be problematic for the US to come out against fascism under the new administration. Every ally should push for the execution of Republicans. #USPol

I miss when mousing over an image consistently resulted in the alt-text popping up as a tooltip. Can we go back to that?

OK, that's interesting. #Plex channels now carry promos for OTA stations that are within the attached TV tuner's reception area.

OK, I get the bezel-less keyboard now. Being able to turn the keyboard on its side and *thunk* it on the desk to knock the dirt out of it is pretty satisfying.

"This Afternoon: A slight chance of rain and snow after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 21°c. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 45 km/h, with gusts as high as 70 km/h. Chance of precipitation is 20%." Nature can eat my whole ass today. #OKWX #Tulsa

Approved. Also hyper-surprised to see a Quick Job that's legit just a yard-tug move within an industrial area. Yeah, your rig has to have a license plate, but yard tugs can achieve that. And they're offering, as shown, a fucking sleeper cab. So it's going to be a hard job because all of it is going to be tight maneuvers with a chassis as long as a school bus. #ATS #Gaming

Pretty bummed out that going to Hallett for #24HoursOfLemons this weekend would be like $200 in gas, tolls and admission tickets and probably mean going to my new job sunburned and tired, making the entire concept wildly impractical this year.

1986: Your average Dominos has a ISDN just because that's like 8 phone lines and you'll definitely need them all on a busy night. 2026: Your average Dominos hangs up on you when the website's down because they have no way to locally input an order that isn't through the same system the website uses. The Dominos website uses Microsoft 265, so anytime Microsoft's web services are down, Dominos can't deliver. The future is stupid.

Heh, just noticed a city traffic count estimate that is obviously wrong but amusing. Our full 3 blocks of our alleyway is listed as having "1000 AVT daily". Like, that's literally asking all maybe 10 of us to drive the whole length of the alley daily. There's entire section where 10 AVT/y is applicable

Just realized there's several birds imitating the *dingding* chime ticket scanners at TU, BOK Center and OneOK Field make when they successfully scan outside. This makes sense since all three are within 5km of here as the bird flies. And that sound is probably associated with happy people and tons of food. So makes sense at least a few would start imitating those sounds. #Tulsa #EverydayLife

I know there's a lot going on in the world right now but if you were a fan of shows like "FOX's World's Wildest ____ Caught On Tape" then you'll love videos from the US Chemical Safety Board. These guys were a YouTube early adopter just putting up dry industrial safety videos up...but then they realized people were into the ham and leaned into it. The US Cool Story Bro was born by accident. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h3bar6eIss
