    a lot of people seem not to know the meaning of the word &quot;should&quot;. i consider that to be a bit weird as iirc it&#39;s an A1 word. it&#39;s frankly very annoying to me seeing one say &quot;thing A should happen&quot; just to get a response along the lines of &quot;you are stupid, it&#39;s not how it works&quot; not even with &quot;thing B is what will happen&quot;; clearly if thing A was already to happen no one would say it &quot;should&quot;. i cannot even think of a synonym for what...

    have i mentioned i finished rereading The Shadow of the Wind? maybe i did on discord. anyway, i am now reading the second part which happens before the first part (though it&#39;s more like they overlap, it starts only a few years earlier). i am kinda glad i did not finish reading it a few years earlier, now i really appreciate it.
