Has anyone successfully moved away from #GoogleCalendar to something else? I'm on ios and macos but would like it to also be usable by my spouse who is on android and PC. We do a fair amount of inviting each other and other folks to calendar entries, but don't use a lot of other features. Motivation here is to get away from big G and theoretically find something with better privacy/etc. #askFedi

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@Javvad/116884479193427902 Guess what, staff from other libraries can also attend these online programs! I did and it really helped me to help my patrons.

Traveling today to spend the week seeing about donating as much as possible from the house of my recently deceased uncle. Feeling good about having a plan for things to go to causes he supported and in a manner he would have approved of. So far the travel is smooth, feeling grateful for precheck so security took all of two minutes. #travel

Friends, I want to tell you that I support Maximum Fun because the podcasts add joy and laughter to my life! They're a worker owned co-op, which I also support (this is a business model we need more of). It's their annual fun drive, so if you're in the market for podcasts, I recommend you check it out and support if you're able. If you're already a supporter, thanks you for that! Let's be pals! #MaximumFun #Podcast

This morning our neighbor put his dog out on a line, as he often does, and left for work. Dog then managed to get the line intensely tangled in part of the giant brush pile nearby, leaving nearly no slack on the line, and started howling a LOT. I went over, affirmed that no one was home, and then untangled the line and tried to make sure the branches were far enough away that it wouldn't happen again. This dog gets left outside to be lonely and bored alllll the time and I hate it.

The rain finally stopped enough for us to get out and drag all the branches to the curb - it's coming up on free brush chipping week in the city and I didn't to want to miss that! Fruit trees have all been pruned and invasive mantis egg ootheca disposed of. hopefully few if any remain and they will not be such an enemy of the monarchs this year. #Garden #MichiganGarden

Down the block two leafblowermen seem intent on removing every mote of dust from a tiny front yard and it is taking them AGES. We’ve had a ton of rain and are currently out of drought status for the first time in years. Not in that front yard! #gross
