    I think it would be nice to have a portal to install a GNOME Extension (from ego). It would allow developers to put most of the code in the app, making the extension smaller and thus more maintainable, easier to review, and the shell less buggy.

    Reworked Bazaar&#39;s search overview provider into a separate little service that does not need the full main application, and so it only takes ~20 MB of ram to work. The service also auto exits after a few seconds, as restarting it is pretty quick &amp; cheap. (except when it needs to live for auto-updates of course.) #GNOME #Bazaar
