One thing I will promise; I never block anyone just because I may disagree with or dislike their words. Because the only people who do are cowards. Want to attack me? Fine. If you think that makes the world a better place, go ahead; you cannot hurt me with your words.

    @Maeve@kbin.earth So....do the Uyghurs agree?

    @Maeve@kbin.earth Says the person who can't answer a yes/no question.

    @Maeve@kbin.earth Hey, assume whatever you like. Please, feel free to keep ignoring the Uyghur population; lots of people hate Muslims in general. I don't, but you do you. Have a nice day, now.

    @zdl@mastodon.online "Capitalism is an idea. It has no agency. The enemy are the people who inflict it upon us. And they have names and addresses. Remember that."' One could almost interpret that as a call to action; even violent action.

    My foray into #sourdough #bagels begins. I made a HUGE sourdough starter a few weeks ago, then gently dehydrated it and ground it into powder. Now, I just subbed in 80g of it for 80g of flour in the already-proven bagel recipe. Hopefully, it will work nearly as well and produce a good sourdough flavor. I do anticipate a longer rise time. #baking

    So what's it going to take for some #DIY #electronics nerd to make a #keysmart style key organizer (or add-on for the keysmart) that has a keyless entry remote built into one of the scales? Seems like the big, chunky key fobs or keys with remotes built into the head really limit the keysmart; this could slim things way down.

    One of the things I love about #capitalism is how often the desire to develop or serve a given market (in order to, gasp, make a profit, sin of sins) leads to a product being accessible and useful to another market. Pre-cut fruit, apparently for lazy people, is also apparently a nice option for people with certain #disabilities. The cheap PET plastic bottle? VERY popular with #ultralight #camping enthusiasts. There are examples all around you of this effect, if you look for them..

    For any #canning enthusiasts out there who find it frustrating to store large numbers of canning rings, it's often useful to store them on your empty jars. It protects the jars rim from nicks and dings. Just make sure everything is BONE DRY and stays that way.
