Metaverse was the same, just on a smaller scale. Everyone whose salary or investment depended on it succeeding was in on the hype. Everyone else just saw a bad Second Life replica. The tech industry has no hypergrowth markets left. There's no actual innovation anymore, hasn't been the case for years. So instead they...

Datacenter deals are being abandoned (lack of demand), prices for models are being increased (lack of free VC), and companies backtracking on their AI projects because they simply don't work. I hate that AI could actually be useful in some areas and benefit humanity, but because of capitalism and corruption...

  @tripplehelix @geerlingguy On the other hand, a lot of people simply have horrible voices/vocal mannerisms. I'm guessing it's because many are not used to speaking on camera, but it's still really bad. The recent Folding Ideas video has another YouTuber as a clip, and that guy is insufferable. Every sentence has the same modulation and he pitches like three octaves above his normal voice at the end of each one.
