RE: https://mastodon.social/@br00t4c/116897111528633278 Giving orders from the grave! It's okay, John Roberts will find a constitutional basis for it.

This is pretty neat. Wish I could've been there, a thing I seldom say about concerts by rock superstars. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2026/05/30/ringo-starr-embraces-and-transcends-time-and-nostalgia-at-rousing-san-diego-concert/

Laura Poitras has a documentary about Seymour Hersh on Netflix called "Cover-Up." I can't recommend it enough.

This guy was standing by himself on #MarineStreetBeach this morning. I got as close as I dared, not wanting to scare either one of us if he were wounded. When I came back up the beach a few minutes later he was flying a bit, so okay I guess. Another peli was floating out in the water, maybe a companion or mate.

RE: https://mstdn.social/@Free_Press/116223718340027628 You can make people live in the close confines of warships for 6-9 months, but it isn't really a good idea; their effectiveness decreases. But a whole brigade of infantrymen on three ships can't sit there for too long, or bad things will happen.
