@azkyll@c.im I feel that with seeing everything get worse. When I went back to Montreal earlier this year it hit me hard. Everything just going down the drain, the city, politics, the vibe, the vibrancy. and then I moved to Berlin, which is a very, very sad place sometimes. I relate to you, it’s profound. I want to maybe try to help create safer places, I guess music is a lot like that, feels like a refuge for an increasingly enshittified landscape.

@Nixtrove@sunny.garden i feel like it just cements the fact that all we can count on is local, interpersonal solidarity networks of any kind. it stuck me when i saw most of the squats in my city beig evacuated. at the end of the day we're just people, and we can only rely on other people when everything else fails. music can help create, unify and sustain those networks, and we're kinda trying to do that in rennes with toplap. it's gonna get easier with time i feel like, but this initial push to create something bigger than ourselves (communities, ideas, instincts) is still hard, especially while adapting to meds. we're gonna get there, we just have to trust ourselves and trust that other people feel this way
