🍁🍁🍁 HEY, CANADIANS and FRIEND OF CANADIANS! Here’s a Chrome browser plugin that I made for Lake ONTARIO. It does two things: 🇨🇦 On regular web pages, it corrects all instances of the incorrect “Lake America” to its proper name, “Lake Ontario” 🇨🇦 On Google Maps, it draws a clickable “Lake Ontario” badge over the lake. Click the badge to see information about Lake Ontario. It’s free, and until I get it into the Chrome Web Store (which will take a couple of days), there’s a relatively easy way to install it. (Do me and Canada a favor and share this far and wide!) 🌐 Read more about it and get the extension here: https://www.globalnerdy.com/2026/08/31/retake-the-lake-a-chrome-browser-plug-in-that-corrects-lake-america-to-lake-ontario/ 🌐 See the source code on GitHub: https://github.com/AccordionGuy/retake-the-lake
