Has anyone else built @blitzcitydiy@mastodon.social's great ESPN Sports Tracker in #CircuitPython but noticing that devices are now blocked? It seems URLs from a browser like safari can return API results, but from device or curl seem somehow blocked. Are others seeing this? Work around ideas?

@blitzcitydiy@mastodon.social Follow-up on my ESPN scoreboard question: solved. ESPN's CDN (Akamai) now rejects TLS connections to site.api.espn.com that don't look like a real browser. A MatrixPortal (or curl) gets an HTML "Access Denied" page, which #CircuitPython reports as "syntax error in JSON." Use site.web.api.espn.com instead. Same API, same paths, not behind the bot rule. While in there I switched to adafruit_json_stream, since each scoreboard is ~300 KB.
