Crosspost, hat-tip to @pnwpixel@programming.dev for finding this. Omarchy announces another patron: DigitalOcean. I will wait for DO to explicitly confirm/deny this, but if this is true then I’m going to be moving my entire small-business footprint.

There’s this: “Built for agents: Omarchy’s pipeline moves to DigitalOcean” digitalocean.com/…/digitalocean-joins-omacom-foun… Alongside the infrastructure move, DigitalOcean is joining the Omacom Foundation, the nonprofit that funds Omarchy’s infrastructure and the open source projects it depends on, as a Founding Corporate Patron, and will serve as Omarchy’s agentic compute provider. So fascism and slop. Name a more iconic couple.

Oh, gods damn it. I’m only going to have a couple of servers to move, but it’s going to be a huge pain in the ass. What VM provider is recommended these days for USAian customers?
