True, but he'd definitely be safer in any red pro life area than a blue. He mostly just needs to outlive the virality of the case, go dark for a while and carry a gun if he doesn't already.
Yeah I'll be writing this one down as a primary reason/example to never do jury duty, I simply cannot swear under oath if my loved ones are going to face consequences. It's as simple as that, fuck you I'm not doing it. I didn't give a shit before, sure whatever I rarely shy away from giving my opinions when asked (which is why I've ended up exiled to fedi after 4 or 5 digits worth of bans lmao), but nah muh civic duty is outweighed by my duty to protect my loved ones.

@Sui@decayable.ink What other choice does he have? Flee the country? This madness is everywhere he might flee to. Definitely needs to be armed everywhere. IN all my 46yrs I have never been called and hope never to be called. I'm not on the voter registration roll so that might have something to do with it. I'm the same, pretty free with my words irl and here too and I can look after myself well enough but that only does so much with these wicked fucks in these numbers and with the state doing all but openly cheer it the fuck on. Loved ones and self have to come first, jury duty isn't worth a shred of risk to either.
