We have the worst PISA results ever, despite all the tech and testing that have entered schools. Yet, we are still trying to find out whether more tech will solve the issue. How about just hitting a reset button on tech, teaching, and parent engagement?

@kdkorte@fosstodon.org Somewhere along the chain, responsibility dropped off a cliff and was replaced with a projected illusion of responsibility. It's hard to determine which is the worst sin that the AI companies have committed, but the notion that humans are failing everywhere and AI is the knight in shining armor rushing to the rescue sits at the top of the pile. Maybe the real danger of AI lies in the duplicity of its peddlers.
