note to self: if you buy a monitor that's got less screen estate than your old monitor then you will be dissapointed.

@dantleech@fosstodon.org I was surprised to notice that the same goes for monitor refresh rates. I've been using high refresh rate monitors for a while now, always thought "don't really notice that" when my monitor looked broken on my updated pc a couple months ago. Turns out it was still set to 60Hz.
