Over 50 years of Tinnitus for me. No ear protection and loud noises, middle ear infections. Chainsaw use began in 1962.

@stevewfolds@mastodon.world That's a long time to deal with this, Steve. For me, I think it was mostly loud gigs -- especially one where the drummer suddenly crashed all his cymbals while I was setting up my keyboard rig right next to him. I knew to wear hearing protection once the soundcheck started, but hadn't occurred to me to have them in for setup.
