Another obvious need
Private jets are pure luxury, except in the rarest of security situations. As such, they should carry very heavy luxury taxes - on purchase and on operation.
In zero instances should they be a tax-avoiding business expense.

@TCatInReality@mastodon.social The only valid use case I can think of for private jets in my experience is "hotshotting" a critical part to the manufacturing plant within hours, to keep the infrastructure supply chain running and hundreds of employees on the clock. This was parts for machines that make what is required to keep your city's utilities running. We had no problems making those phone calls and waking anyone up that was necessary, including government officials.
