@nm@neverhill.social interesting! For gdscript, gemma4 (31b) worked better for me than qwen3.6 (35b), but if you say 3.8 is a big step, maybe I'll get the newer version.

@godot_dater@mastodon.world 35B is an MoE model, so a better comparison would be between the two 27B versions. The improvement from the previous version to 3.8 isn’t huge, but it crossed some boundary where the generated code suddenly feels okay.
