I want an easy way to refer to pinouts for microcontrollers and things like that, which doesn't take up physical space on my desk *or* virtual space on any of my current screens. Do I hang a clipboard off the back of one of my monitors, and stash printouts there? Do I buy another small monitor to hang from one of the big ones and use it entirely to display reference information for projects-in-progress? Do I over-engineer a super narrow drawer on the underside of my desk to stash paper in?

  • The point is, I keep looking *somewhere* that isn't on my screens for this information when I want it. Adam Savage says (and I 100% agree) you should store things where you expect to find them when you go to look for them. I feel like I'd be the kind of person to have a giant QRG poster on the wall with an Arduino Uno and 50 example functions, but I don't feel like I have the wall space for it.
