It is incredibly hard to explain to people just how awful #AI is by itself at writing code, writing stories, or making art.
Like, supremely and criminally bad.
Let me explain.
AI Art struggled for a long time making a wine glass that was anything except half full and totally empty. The _only_ reason it can now is because a blog post pointed it out and so it was trained specifically on that.
That is a _huge deal_. Like, I want you to think about those implications for a second. The AI was incapable of rendering something that is trivial for a human to imagine.

So what does that mean for AI art in general? Well, you probably already noticed that most #AI art looks like AI art slop. Why? Because it was specifically trained by asking people what they liked more. So, the #AIArt style is a distillation of the median taste of the demographics of the sorts of people that use AI Art generators. (Though, I'm pretty sure the yellow comes from being trained on a lot of movie data.) But, you probably also know it doesn't have to look like that. 2/
