Could I have theoretically escaped the parking lot *sooner* if I had backed straight up as far as physically possible and then made the turn, as to avoid the car getting towed in what was basically the spot next to me? Sure Was I going to risk hitting a tow truck while there were cops out and about? Fuck no.
