It takes 34 states to declare constitutional convention. Once it starts, no rules. If one of the agenda items include redrawing state lines for more unity, can give more power to groups/states to join separate unions that advance their values.

Dems currently control only 18 State Legislatures. Best case scenario... (imo): Dems gain Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, New Hampshire, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Virgina. So thats 27. So... you'd then have to get 5 Rep State Legislatures on board with this. Which _might_ (?) be possible, there's still a fair deal of 'National Divorce' sentiment on the right generally. ... and then, **all hell** would break loose.
