Apropos nothing, one of my favorite (AIRQUOTES) things from the pandemic was when the apartments above and below us became Airbnbs. Getting your heard-through-the-floors lockdown parenting of a 1yo and a kid doing Zoom preschool reviewed by strangers was a real hoot. People did not seem happy that their imagined relaxing vacation included a family dealing with a pandemic, the Trump administration, jobs, and a toddler who woke up at 5:30 in a world that was reduced to 1000sqft. So weird!
