#JustFinished Blood Over Brighthaven by M.L.Wong I took two passes at this book. I DNFed it in the spring as it seemed like just another YA girl takes on the patriarchy, finds a more oppressed sidekick, they disrupt the status quo and fall in love book, which I am tired of. And it was, in the end. I did find a little bit that was interesting and different when I read it fully for book club. But it's a long way in before it breaks the mold at all. Good enough. #books #bookstodon #SFF #fantasy
