The family wouldn’t be installing Signal, a secure messaging app. They would be installing “that app I only use to talk to that one idiot”.

Yeah i had this recently in an ‘everyone needs to move off whatsapp’ topic. It just isnt practical and I would be commiting social suicide if I told everyone they could only talk to me on signal and uninstalled whatsapp.
