Y'know, beyond all the dash-to-dock, dash-to-panel, dock-from-dash extensions, with #GNOME 40+'s "Workspaces are horizontal, the dash is at the bottom, swipe up or use the top-left hot corner to go to the overview" #design, it baffles me why we haven't made the whole bottom edge a "hot" edge that triggers the overview (and therefore, the dash). Essentially, making https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/6230/bottom-overview/ the default behavior. Autohide & easy overview. Feels like natural #UX.
