I made a quick 15 minute print in order to validate my math that the 8 tooth gear will make a quarter turn, although it's not clear that it's doing that. Seems slightly more than 1/4 but not quite 1/2.

I decided to make the wheels rotate continuously rather than with an odometer mechanism and now have the first 12 bits on my Unix epoch clock!
