I am back in my home town Neuss in Germany. This morning I walked through the old city gate and noticed a big hornets nest in a small window above the gate. It did not look right, not like the normal German wasps or hornets. Quick search showed Germany has the Asian Hornet as an invasive species. They hunt honey #bees and are very dangerous. Another nest had been found last year less than 100 yards from this spot... Reported it and the local bee club will examine it tomorrow. #asianhornet
