@heidilifeldman@mastodon.social I'm truly confused. I thought, with my high school understanding of US supreme court, they only got involved when there was conflict between lower courts. but every lower court has ruled the same, what he want to do is illegal.

  • @mral@mastodon.sdf.org Often and traditionally, the US addressed legal issues where courts disagreed. But when there is an appeal or stay request on a very important issue and time is of the essence the Court may step in to affirm or overrule lower courts, even if they are all in agreement.
