  @david@social.gamefan.net it's so complicated sadly. The drugs have been shown to change the relationship people have with food, that it sucks any joy out of eating. I think that is a joy a human should have. And so many people abuse food and drugs and vices because they're hurt, a magic bullet to remove your vice of choice either introduces another damaging vice (e.g.losing 10 kilos but picking up gambling) or leaves you a hurt person with even fewer coping mechanisms. If someone is signed up for these drugs, they should have to visit some therapists too. After watching many episodes of 'my 600 lb life' , I had to stop watching it because under the spectacle of it, there is always a hurt abused mistreated person and the realization made it too painful to watch.
