oh cool... didn't get the job i was feeling really optimistic about, found out they had >1000 applicants for their tiny little company's job listing, and while i made it to the final round with only a few other applicants... over... a thousand... for a small company who pretty much put a job listing on linkedin and that's it. they needed no advertising or name recognition to get a thousand applicants this fills me with dread when i think of doing more applications...
