@ret@furry.engineer I can imagine. If it's a busy store, the staff probably don't get the time. Whilst they do hire a cleaner, their only job is to mop the shop floor in the am. The rest of the cleaning is dumped on the staff, cashiers mostly. If it's a quiet store? Laziness. Although idk how much I could blame them since pay is only a hair above minimum wage (about £0.20 more when I worked there, for reference). >_>
