My son is looking for a software job.
He graduated this year with a BS in CompSci. He's been writing software since he was tiny — the degree just made it official.
He got great grades, has strong hobby experience, and stellar references. He's great with high level code, the new AI hotness, but great with old school C too. And he's an all around nice guy.
I'm reaching out to you folks to see if anyone is looking for a young guy to fill out your team.
Please repost to spread the word. Thx!

@isaiah@mastodon.social I'm very sorry to tell you the outlook is poor for computer science grads no matter how great they are. One young person we know was a high-end programming hotshot. He's been unemployed for two years. Our daughter's friends who graduated 5 years ago with compsci degrees from a prestigious school are all unemployed. One person we know has 2 Phds in compsci has been unemployed for 4 years, though that may be partly due to his age. Sorry.
